Detailrs Claybar Soft - Make paint feel like glass again
This soft detailing clay is specifically designed to safely remove bonded contamination from paintwork and glass. The product effortlessly pulls deep-seated contaminants such as tree sap, tar, iron fallout, and industrial fallout from the surface. This leaves the paint perfectly prepped for a new layer of wax, sealant, or coating. Thanks to its softer structure, this piece of clay is ideal for light to moderate contamination and extremely safe to use on most car paints. A major advantage is the convenient storage box that keeps the product perfectly clean. It does, however, always require the use of a good lubricant to prevent scratching, making it an extra step in the wash process. But once the surface has been clayed, the result feels unprecedentedly smooth.

Break off a small, manageable piece of the clay and knead it into a flat disc. Spray a dedicated clay lubricant onto a washed, wet panel. Gently rub the clay in straight lines over the surface without applying heavy pressure. Regularly fold the disc in half to encapsulate the dirt and continue working with a clean section. Finally, wipe off the residue with a microfiber towel.
Tips
Never drop the clay on the ground. If this does happen, throw the piece away immediately, as sand grains will cause severe scratches on the paint. Break the clay into several smaller pieces before starting the job, ensuring a backup is always ready in case one is dropped.
Een claybar is een autopoetsproduct in de vorm van een zachte klei die wordt gebruikt om verontreinigingen van het oppervlak van je auto te verwijderen. Het bestaat uit een speciale kleimassa die vuil, teer, insectenresten, industriële verontreinigingen, en andere minuscule deeltjes uit de lak trekt en opneemt. Het gebruik van een claybar maakt de lak gladder en helpt om het oppervlak voor te bereiden op een betere afwerking, zoals waxen of het aanbrengen van een coating. Het wordt vaak gebruikt na een wasbeurt, maar vóór het polijsten of het aanbrengen van beschermende lagen.
Je kunt een claybar gebruiken op de lak, ramen, en zelfs op bepaalde metalen onderdelen van de auto, zoals chromen delen. Zorg ervoor dat je altijd een glijmiddel zoals claylube gebruikt om de claybar soepel te laten bewegen en krassen te voorkomen.
