Manual Ensure the surface to be polished is clean and dry. Attach the correct backing plate and polishing pad to the machine. Apply a few drops of polish to the pad and place the machine on the paint. Start at the lowest setting to distribute the product over a small area. Increase the RPM to the desired working speed and move the machine in even, overlapping passes. Reduce pressure at the end of the cycle and wipe off the residue with a clean cloth.
