Auto-Foam is a premium pre-wash foam designed to optimize vehicle preparation. This water-based formula is created to remove dirt and contaminants from the paint before applying shampoo and other products like wash mitts.
It ensures a thorough clean without damaging the paint. Auto-Foam is compatible with all pressure washer and high-pressure foam lances and has an ideal PIR (Panel Impact Ratio) of 4%, as explained in the manual below. The foam remains active for five minutes to effectively perform its task.
The product is biodegradable, tough on dirt, yet gentle on paint. Its non-caustic formulation preserves the paint even with regular use. The foam breaks down gradually, allowing the cleaning agents to work and effectively remove contaminants. After use, Auto-Foam can be easily rinsed off, leaving the vehicle ready for subsequent treatments.
Not suitable for PET bottles; always rinse thoroughly after use.

Auto-Foam can be applied using a foam lance, hand foamer, or spray bottle. The minimum recommended PIR (Panel Impact Ratio) is 4%.
Follow these steps only once, and remember to record the ratio on the container for future use. Fill the mixing bottle with tap water up to the maximum level. Set the foam lance or, if using the pressure washer’s own reservoir, adjust it to the maximum product flow. Use a large empty bucket and spray with the foam lance into the bucket until the mixing bottle is empty, then stop immediately. If the bottle isn’t empty and the bucket is full, halve the amount of water in the mixing bottle and start over. All subsequent numbers should be halved accordingly.
To achieve a PIR of 4%, measure the total liters in the bucket after the mixing bottle is empty. Multiply this number by 0.04 to determine the amount of product needed for the mixing bottle. Mix the bottle with the calculated amount of product and water. Foam the vehicle and let it sit for up to 5 minutes. Never let the product dry. Rinse off with high pressure.
Example Calculation with a Pressure Washer and a Monello Lancia Foam Lance:
- Fill the 1000 ml mixing bottle with tap water.
- Attach the foam lance to the pressure washer and set it to the maximum foam setting.
- Spray into a large empty bucket until the 1000 ml bottle is almost empty. The bucket will then contain approximately 13 liters of water.
- The required amount of product is 13 x 0.04 = 520 ml, with the remainder filled with water.

Goede Prewash - Niet te beste foam
Zoals zoveel hier al hebben gezegd, kan ik ook beamen dat de BT autofoam erg goed werkt doet als cleaner. Krijgt zonder moeite alle Traffic Film van de auto, die normaliter achter blijft als je alleen met HD afspuit. Ik gebruik het zelf in samenwerking met een Kwazar Venus 2L handfoamer, en gebruik dan zon 40 a 50ml op 1,5L water. Daarmee heb ik dus een PIR van 3-4% en dat is meer dan zat. Ik lees dat andere nog wel eens een iets hogere ratio aanhouden omdat dan de foam wat dikker zou zijn, maar daarvoor moet je deze Prewash Snowfoam niet kopen. Het is voor mij puur een cleaner die het meeste weghaalt zodat je daarna zonder problemen een handwash kan doen. Bij minder vervuilde auto's zou je zelfs er voor kunnen kiezen om alleen met BT autofoam en HD te wassen! Geur is verder zeepachtig en wat mij betreft aangenaam.

Bilthamber auto foam
Klein foutje gemaakt, had eigenlijk de touchless versie moeten hebben voor mijn Venus 2l handfoamer. eerste keer 100ml autofoam in de fles gedaan en aangevuld met water tot Max 2l in mijn Venus. Volgens mij is dat iets meer dan de Max concentratie die je dient te gebruiken. Met de blauwe sprayer alsnog een mooie dunne foam. Daarna, voor indrogen, met druk afgespoten. Vuil gaat goed los. Alleen heel oud en hard vuil blijft nog wat zitten. Enfin de polijstbeurt was alweer lang geleden. De volgende keer ga ik 20-50ml toepassen. Zeker omdat deze foam tov de Touchless wat aggressiever zou zijn.
