This backing plate is specifically designed for use on Dual Action (random orbital) polishing machines. With a diameter of 74mm, this product forms the ideal base for polishing smaller surfaces, such as bumpers, mirror caps, and door pillars. The construction features a 10mm thick, soft foam layer between the thread and the hook-and-loop backing.
This interface layer offers two key benefits. Firstly, the flexibility ensures that the vehicle's contours are followed effortlessly, reducing the risk of damage to edges. Secondly, the foam acts as a damper that absorbs machine vibrations. This results in a smoother polishing experience and increased working comfort. The attachment uses a standard 5/16” UNF thread, making the plate compatible with many common entry-level and mid-range DA machines. Please ensure the machine possesses this specific connection.

Gewoon goed
Fijne backingplate die perfect past op mijn dap900 V3. Ideaal formaat voor het polijsten van koplampen met kleine pads. De kleine pad die bij de DAP komt is voor mij eigenlijk net te groot.
