Monello Guanto Puro Grade Clay Mitt - Super fast paint decontamination
This special wash mitt is the modern and fast alternative to the traditional clay bar. The Monello Guanto Puro Clay Mitt features an advanced rubber polymer layer on one side that effectively removes bonded contaminants from the paintwork. This includes tar, tree sap, industrial fallout, and overspray that do not disappear with a normal wash. Due to the large surface area of the mitt, this process is significantly faster than using a small piece of clay.
The other side has a mesh structure and is perfect voor removal of insect when washing the car. Use Monello Ciao Insetti insect remover for optimal effect.
The major advantage of this mitt is its durability; should the mitt fall on the ground during use, it can simply be rinsed off and used again. With traditional clay, the product must be discarded. This polymer rubber is a 'Fine Grade' variant is relatively mild on the paint, but when using clay products there is always a slight risk of light marring (micro-scratches), so it is advisable to lightly polish the car or treat it with a cleaner after use. The mitt is less suitable for very tight corners where a small piece of clay can reach.

Wash the car thoroughly to remove all loose dirt.
Prepare a bucket with water and a generous amount of shampoo (lubricant).
Dip the mitt into the soapy water and glide the rubber side over the wet paintwork.
Rub without applying pressure until the surface feels smooth and rinse the mitt regularly.
Tips
Use the Clay Mitt on the car windows before first use; this helps to 'break in' the rubber layer and make it pliable.
Always ensure sufficient lubricant (shampoo or clay lube) to minimize the risk of scratches; the mitt should never drag 'dry' over the paint.
Ja. De mitt is ontworpen als alternatief voor het traditionele kleiblok en werkt veel sneller door het grotere oppervlak. Voor nauwkeurige hoekjes of extreem vervuilde plekken kan een kleine clay bar handig blijven.
De mitt is herbruikbaar zolang de polymerenlaag intact blijft. Spoel hem na elk gebruik grondig uit en laat hem volledig aan de lucht drogen voordat je hem opbergt.
De polymeerlaag is een fine grade variant en relatief mild voor de lak. Toch bestaat er bij elk clay-product altijd een kleine kans op lichte marring. Daarom raden we aan de lak na gebruik licht te polijsten of te behandelen met een cleaner of wax.
Het is het beste om de mitt na gebruik met schoon water uit te spoelen en aan de lucht te laten drogen. Machinewassen kan de polymerenlaag beschadigen of verkleuring veroorzaken.
Ja. De andere zijde heeft een mesh microvezelstructuur die ideaal werkt voor het verwijderen van insecten. Voor een nog beter resultaat kun je de mitt combineren met een insectenverwijderaar zoals Monello Ciao Insetti.

geweldig
Deze clay mitt ligt zo makkelijk in de hand en doet echt wat hij moet doen. Heb er zelfs al voor vrienden moeten bestellen, omdat ze ook zien dat hij doet wat moet. Ik bewaar hem na het wassen wel steeds terug in de origenel verpakking.
Matig resultaat
Lijkt makkelijk te werken, maar resultaat haalde het niet bij gewoon echt klei. Dus nu twee maal kleien ipv een keer. Zal wel werken als auto wordt bijgehouden en meteen na wassen. Nu was auto voor mij nieuw en waarschijnlijk nooit gekleid. Krijgt nog herkansing
Geweldige uitvinding!
Ik was eerst sceptisch over een clay mitt omdat ik jarenlang met traditionele klei werkte, maar inmiddels gebruik ik bijna altijd een clay mitt. Het werkt een stuk sneller, ligt prettig in de hand en als je hem laat vallen hoef je hem niet direct weg te gooien zoals bij klei. Na gebruik voelt de lak weer heerlijk glad aan en zijn achtergebleven vervuilingen zoals teer, boomhars en vliegroest grotendeels verdwenen. Voor een volledige detailbeurt is het voor mij echt een enorme tijdsbesparing.
